After more than six centuries, the Mazzei family is still dedicated to growing grapes and making wine with a constant commitment to innovation and respect for the environment. The objective of the Mazzei family, which runs the company, is to keep its historic values and family traditions alive by adapting them to the needs of the market but also to the opportunities offered by modern technologies. This is the framework that has guided important strategic decisions such as the adoption of the most modern systems for the protection of the environment (beginning with those for the autonomous production of energy) and, on the other hand, the progressive creation of a real wine-making group through the acquisition of wineries in the two areas considered to be the most promising in Italy: the Maremma and southeastern Sicily.
