Coap, a supply cooperative among bakers, was founded in 1959 by a group of artisan bakers, with the aim of reducing the cost of raw materials for production. Over the years it has evolved from a marginal service function focused on a few references, without the support of distribution structures, to the current commercial and distribution organization, to be considered, with good reason, a leader in the sector, both in terms of volume and quality and competence in overall service. Coap represents for members and customers a valuable point of reference, not only for raw materials and commercial products, but also the ability to analyze the evolutions of the reference market, and disseminate to its customers ideas on production, sales and organization that, where they have been applied, have brought excellent results. Coap currently operates in the provinces of Forli, Ravenna, Bologna, Ferrara and Rimini.

The transportation of goods distributed from the Via Nicola Sacco warehouse is handled solely by refrigerated vehicles, while for the delivery of products such as frozen foods, fresh milk and derivatives, which require special conditions of both transport and service, Coap relies on the cooperation of partner companies.
