Research, Innovation and Training are the bases that INDEX has worked on since the beginning of tis activity.

Founded in 1978, it quickly became one of the most important companies in the world for the production of technologically advanced water-proofing materials for the protection of residential, commercial, industrial buildings and civil engineering. In the early 1980s it diversified the production by introducing new systems and products in the market.

INDEX is active in all Italian regions and abroad, with branches in UK and France, and with over 100 distributors in the main countries of all five continents. It cooperates Bitec in the USA and with UBE in Japan. It sold production lines and know-how in the USA, Japan and China through its own Engineering sector.

In May 2019, it became part of Sika, a specialized chemistry company in leading position in the development and production of systems and products for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcement and protection in the construction and car industries.
