Itarca (Italo Argentina Carni) was founded in 1969 by the current owners as an import and trading company of frozen meat, especially from South America.

Over the years, maintaining a close relationship with Brazil and Argentina for the importation of meat, the company has expanded the categories of products traded, importing frozen meat products, fish, crustaceans, mollusks and frozen vegetables from all over the world. In addition to imported products, it also markets national products such as meat, vegetables, pizza, pasta and bread, frozen mushrooms, as well as dried mushrooms, oils, canned and smoked products, with a total range of about 800 items.
