Le Chiantigiane S.C.A.r.L.

Le Chiantigiane is a 2nd degree consortium that bottles wine provided by its member wineries. The production cycle begins with the formation of a homogeneous mass from the wine coming from the various wineries. The grapes are transformed at Chiantigiane's associated wineries. Each year, these wineries transform about 170,000 quintals of grapes produced in the vineyards of over 2,000 associated producers. The production area includes a large part of central Tuscany and, in particular, the municipalities of Certaldo, Colle Val d'Elsa, Empoli, Larciano and Castelnuovo Berardenga, where the transformation plants are also located. These are modern plants with the most advanced technologies for the production of typical Tuscan red, white and rosé wines. All phases of the process are controlled by agronomists and enologists, who set its quality parameters.
