In 1968, Engineer Vittorio Stiatti tried his hand at a problem: to automatically irrigate his own garden and vegetable garden. From this passion for greenery came the first rudimentary European electromechanical irrigation control unit, the glorious "Rainer"® .
Since then, year after year, Rain has expanded the range of products handled and has established itself as one of the most serious and professional operators in the irrigation industry.
In 1985, the first solenoid valve made entirely in the company was produced, to which innovative and highly professional products have been seamlessly added.
Among others of particular interest was the introduction, in 1996, of a complete range of battery-powered and fully submersible controllers to which was added, in 2000, a complete line of venturi injectors for ferti-irrigation.
Today Rain has become a leading European manufacturer of solenoid valves, battery-powered controllers, venturi injectors and accessories for the professional market.
