Tonoli has been operating in the field of logistics since 1960. The beginnings are as a sole proprietorship in the field of local freight transport only.

At the end of the 1970s, with the entry of his sons, Mauro and Ennio, into the company, the sole proprietorship was transformed into a S.n.c. and from here began the growth of the company, which opened up to new markets, both domestic and international.

Tonoli's focus is on shipments to and from the Iberian Peninsula. The fleet of vehicles gradually expands, and in parallel the company invests in customer service.

In the late 1980s, Tonoli Spedizioni s.r.l. is established. Over the years, Tonoli Iberica Spedizioni and Tonoli Portoguesa are also established, with the function of organizing and coordinating the entire network of international traffic and widespread distribution between Italy, Spain and Portugal.

After the experience gained in the transport sector, the company decided in the late 1990s to expand its commercial offerings to better meet the growing market needs in terms of product warehousing.

1,200 customers make up Tonoli's portfolio, including leading companies in their sectors, ranging from foodstuffs to wines and spirits, clothing and textiles in addition to the automotive, glass, paper and industrial machinery sectors. Over 40,000 shipments a year followed, with professional, reliable, competitive, yet elastic and flexible method to the structural and market needs of the customer.
