Company
The company was founded in the 1950s, under the name GRISSINERIA REGGIANA, from the experience of founder Nevino Bernardelli as a baker.
In the 1960s, the transformation from GRISSINERIA REGGIANA to GRISSIN BON took place, and to the production of bread and breadsticks was added that of rusks at the new plant located in S. Ilario D'Enza.
In the mid-1980s, a new product, Fagolosi, was launched, an exclusive to the Company, which, by the end of the 1990s, had a very strong increase in sales.
In the early 1990s Fornarello, a true bread substitute, was born. In 1996 the new warehouse was inaugurated, in 1998 the new offices, in 2001 a new production unit was built, about 1 km from the headquarters, hosting 3 breadsticks production lines, and in 2008 a new rusk line was inaugurated.
NEEDS
In 2004, in order to comply with the entry into force of EC Regulation No. 178/2002, which required Food Traceability as of January 1, 2005, Grissin Bon decided to implement Replica Sistemi's Warehouse Management System StockSystem, which, in addition to reorganizing the management of logistics flows, guaranteed the traceability and retraceability of lots.
From a logistics point of view, Grissin Bon manages finished goods in logistics warehouses, one of which has semi-automated compactable systems consisting of racks mounted on mobile bases that run on rails suitably integrated into the floor, and one fully automated.
The WMS StockSystem is integrated with the ERP Microsoft Dynamics NAV (now 365 BC) and interfaces with the movers and mechanical palletizers and labelers and, as soon as the finished product leaves the production line, defines the expiration date and destination in the warehouse, with FIFO management.
