How do you create a chat-bot for EasYard software?
Replica Sistemi hosted four high school students from Mantova during their School-Work Internship, who have been engaged in a project focused on the study and development of the new chat-bot for the Yard Management System EasYard.
From Training
Simone Nicoletti, Software Developer Logistics Line and Company Tutor, and Paola Gorgaini, Software Developer Transport Line and Project Support Coordinator, planned a training period in order to learn:
- programming language
- how to manage the web application
- how to configure the database
- notions of cyber security
- code testing mode
To Planning and Development
Next came the planning to set up and create from scratch the chat, exploiting the power of AI, with the creation of:
- a web application with text field and button to simulate a conversation;
- a sample Web service;
- a ChatGPT-like interface;
- a chatbot API by using Azure API.
The last step of the project saw the app test.
How good was this internship experience?

At the end of the project presentation the students received compliments for their skills and commitment and a certificate of participation.
